This video was sent to me by the adorable guy singing, David and was taken a couple of days ago at the legendary jazz club, Birdland.
LOVE LOVE LOVE it!
And made me smile. Hugely.
Could this be any funnier? And adorable?
And here’s part of the sweet note he included [is it still a note if it is in an email?]:
“I want to let you know that my mother allowed and encouraged my dressing as a woman as a child and straight up through high school and beyond, and I’m fine. Everyone in my family thought it was awesome when you posted that blog, because we are living proof that those women are wrong. And, yes, I’ve got my Daphne costume for this year. I’ll be sure to send you a photo.”
I hope he let’s me post that picture. What a great addition it would be to the Just B project.
Such a fun way to launch into our costume-y weekend.

This is AMAZING! :) What perfect lyrics!
What a great song. I remembered your story from last Halloween and googled in the hopes of finding out what your son wanted to be this year?
omg! i went to high school with those two boys, the one playing the piano was in my grade while the one singing was a little older. That’s pretty amazing.
