Nerdy Apple Bottom

Today is Squirt’s 4th birthday [IMPOSSIBLE!] which reminds me that I too just had a birthday. The big 3-6. I’m now closer to forty than thirty though that means little to me.

Anyway, remembering that I just had a birthday also reminded me that I received a really awesome gift. I recently set up a PO Box and the first thing I received was a package that included the item pictured above. That is hand-lettered, people. HAND-LETTERED! I love it. I love hand-written, hand-made, hand-lettered, hand-anything. It just says something more personal. And I love it. It is hanging in my office [which is a 3 ft square shelf area in the corner of my bedroom] and I think of my friend [the sender] and her husband [the hand-letterer] every time I look at it.

Thank you, Ladybug! And thank your husband for me as well. Love you guys, and absolutely adore my gift. So very grateful.

Also, did you know PO Boxes receive junk mail? I saw that I actually had mail and then found it to be junk. Very disappointing.
