Bubba was waiting for Peanut to come upstairs to have a sleepover. While he waited, I read to him in my bed from a chapter book we’ve been working on. Peanut came in to get him. He leaned in to hug her and said, “You’re the greatest sister there is.” As they were walking out I looked over and Peanut had tears in her eyes. She thought what he said to her was so sweet it brought tears to her eyes.
I have some really great kids.
And I feel very blessed.

Haha, good question. Well, my brother and I are five years apart. So, since I’m pretty much older; I have to give and take a lot. We do fight but there’s still love, haha.
Don’t get me wrong, they drive me nuts most of the time. But every once in a while, I get to see something super sweet that melts my heart.
