So we made it over to Rainy Day Books and spent a little quality time shopping and chatting with the employees. Very knowledgeable. Loved them. Recommend them highly!
After we made a few unplanned purchases, we decided to head over to Unity Temple to get parking. We got rock star parking right next to the door on the street. To celebrate our good luck, we headed across the street to Tomfooleries for a drink or two. (Hey, it was happy hour!)
I also was able to use the remote for my Nikon that CPA bought for me at my birthday.
We then headed over to Unity Temple to make sure we had decent seats. We ended up in the 2nd row which wasn’t too bad, but we were outwitted by the women in front of us who had brought a 3 month old baby girl. With a feathery pink headband. And a pair of pink boots.
The crowd was pleasant and friendly.
Then all hell broke loose as Marlboro Man and 2 of the punks came in. OK, maybe hell only broke loose in my head. But seriously, that is one good lookin’ family. Couldn’t resist this (I think Ree will be alright with it):
To be continued…
