Ok, so my dear friend Seth ( http://sethgunderson.com ) has convinced me that I may be interesting enough to at least a couple of people to have a blog. And since I like to fancy myself a writer of sorts, this will have to be my outlet. Oh and he says I’m funny. And I didn’t have to talk him into saying that. So here goes.
A little about me:
- Have two of the cutest kids in the world- scratch that- they are the cutest
- Unemployed, though hopefully not unemployable
- Like cheesy 80’s glam rock, among many other genres
- Watch a lot of TV and read a crapload of books
- Don’t like the taste of water
- LOVE going to Target
- Read the blogs of people I don’t know and get teary-eyed at times
- Obsessed with office supplies
- Have tried to quit smoking forty-eleven times and still haven’t gotten it right
- Am annoyed by the general public
So that seems like a decent list to start with. I am sure there will be more to learn as you anxiously anticipate every new post. I hope to not be one of those people that posts about as frequently as a real democratic election happens anywhere in the world. But hey, I get busy just like the rest of you. There are diapers to change and T-ball practices to make and Survivor-Exile Island http://www.cbs.com/primetime/survivor12/ to view.

You've taken a big step here, and I'm really proud of you. Now you have the challenging responsibility of giving the rest of us something to skip our responsibilities in order to read your posts for. This is an important task. We're counting on you. Post often.
Hell yes! This will be my favorite blog yet. You forgot to mention that you're into Irish folk dancing with older women and your undying love for chocolate.
YES! I love when I have something to do besides WORK! …and you know everytime I read, I'll be looking for my name, so write up, my lady, write, uh, good things, at least!
Fun fact: I actually started a blog on this site last February (as in 2005) and still have not posted one thing…maybe I'll make that one of my 2006 goals?!
Did I really have THAT many kind words to say about you? Sheesh. And here I was thinking that I wasn't a friend. Drats. Nice first post, now all you have to do is pretty much find things that you think are utterly stupid and rant about them. Yay! Now that you have a blog, you're automatically an expert. Or something.
On the item about the cutest kids, I went to lunch with Thomas Lin and he said you had the cutest kids with the cutest names. Thought I would share.
